Our time at Hotel Monopol was delightful! The friendly staff welcomed us with complimentary sparkling wine, and our room was spacious and clean. Enjoying free drinks from the minibar and delicious breakfast spread was a treat each morning. The location directly across from the main train station made exploring the city an absolute breeze!

However, the ambiance outside was a bit concerning, especially at night, and the street felt less safe than expected. Moreover, the lack of air conditioning made our stay a little uncomfortable during warmer nights, as we had to rely on fans.

I was immediately captivated by the hotel's vintage décor, complete with ornate chandeliers that added a touch of elegance to my stay. The complimentary minibar, stocked daily with refreshing drinks, was a good surprise. Waking up to a wide variety of breakfast options, including smoked salmon, set the tone for my day!

We had a cozy night in a well-appointed room. Enjoying complimentary drinks from the mini bar added a special touch to our experience! The welcoming staff made us feel right at home. For a peaceful rest, choose an upper floor to avoid staircase hassles.

My chilly room had large windows, while the steps hindered wheelchair access.

We loved our stay here. The room was large and comfortable for our family with two boys. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and a few minutes away from walks along the river Main. The buffet breakfast was a highlight with plenty of delicious options.
